We deeply believe in giving individual attention to each practitioner. We love to answer all your questions, hear your ideas and concerns, and give consultations on your practice. We don't teach assembly-line McYoga here! We have seen the power that a wellness and fitness practice can have for personal transformation and our teachers are committed to help you achieve and sustain it.

For the beginner we believe that yoga should be accessible--not an Olympic-style event. We offer many "Gentle" introductory classes entirely appropriate for true beginners (or even persons with minor injuries). Trust us--the benefits of yoga exercise can be experienced at all levels, by anyone, at any age. We actually think that the person who can mostly benefit from yoga is the mainstream person who has been using traditional Western methods of fitness--or maybe none at all. So come see how good yoga can make you feel!

For the yoga enthusiast we believe in choice: we offer not just one style of yoga as other studios do, but several. Each person can either deepen their practice in a particular favorite style or branch out and experiment with others. We want to offer something for everyone--so come meet our eclectic and experienced teaching staff!

Our facilities include:
> two large yoga studios with hardwood floors; yoga props such as mats, blocks, straps, blankets, and pillows are available free of charge to all in each studio;
> dedicated rooms for individual body therapies, such as massage and acupuncture (coming soon);
> men's and women's changing rooms with lockers and showers;
> a tea cafe serving organic, fairly-traded teas, coffee, herbal tonics and snacks;
> a retail boutique offering yoga and other wellness practice accesories and clothing, as well as ecologically-responsible and fair-trade personal care items, home decorative accessories and unique gifts;
> a fully handicapped-accesible entrance for persons with limited mobility (accesible are the first floor yoga studio, bathroom with shower, private rooms for individualized therapies, tea cafe and retail boutique).
> starting this September, we are excited to announce a new component of our wellness facility: The Gym at Karma Yoga! Pre-registration discounts are available before 8/31/08. For more information, email: gym@karmayogastudio.com

We strive to provide an intimate and personal atmosphere that is clean, calm, and healing. We hope you will find Karma to be a sanctuary in the heart of busy Cambridge. Come visit us and see!

How to attend a class:
> before leaving for a class, please don't forget to always check our website or call the studio to find out about any last-minute schedule changes or cancellations!
